Matthew Palladino, LEED AP BD&C, WELL AP, has performed various roles throughout his career, including project management, sustainability management, and estimating. Mr. Palladino joined the DeMatteis team in 2022 and currently serves as Chief Estimator and Procurement Manager. Mr. Palladino joined the DeMatteis team after nearly 20 years in various positions at E.W. Howell. Mr. Palladino leads the DeMatteis estimating and procurement team efforts and is responsible for all aspects of DeMatteis bidding, budgeting, and cost proposal submissions and subcontract procurements. Mr. Palladino holds various credentials, including being a LEED AP, BD&C, and a WELL AP. Mr. Palladino is also active in the community, volunteering as a member of the board of directors of the USGBC- Long Island Chapter. Mr. Palladino’s broad experience profile allows him to create and foster strong trade contractor relationships, creating a subcontractor team that will enable DeMatteis to pursue and be successful on some of the most challenging and notable projects in the area.
Holding a B.S. in Construction Management Engineering Technology from Farmingdale State College, Mr. Palladino brings experience in pre-construction, estimating, and procurement for large, complex projects, including the Success Academy Charter School, located in the Bronx, NY, and multiple NYC School Construction Authority (NYCSCA) campus projects, as well as practical management experience in these type of projects. Mr. Palladino’s comprehensive construction industry experience and dynamic nature enable him to oversee the development of cost estimates and budgets by DeMatteis within the Construction Management at-risk (GMP), Design–Build and General Contracting (Design-Bid-Build) project delivery frameworks for both the private and public sector marketplaces.
